Matt Orr & John Beswick win, beating Chris Burrows & Bob Sandie in the Final. 22 players took part, with Stuart Kirby and Charlie Robinson seeded to reach the Final, but after a tough semi-final Chris (aged 16) and Bob took on the former several times National Doubles champion John Beswick and Matt Orr (aged 17, from Derby Moor Fives), losing 11-7, 11-5. For Stuart it is his first title - congratulations! For Emma, who won the competition last year with Bob Dolby, it completes the hat-trick of Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
